Osteopathic Medical Education | Baptist Health Sciences University
At Baptist University College of Osteopathic Medicine (BUCOM), we are shaping the next generation of compassionate physicians. As part of the Baptist Memorial Health Care system, one of the largest healthcare networks in the Mid-South, BUCOM offers hands-on clinical training in diverse medical settings. Our state-of-the-art, 100,000-square-foot facility in Memphis provides an innovative learning environment, preparing students for impactful careers in primary care and beyond.
Application Submission
All students and visiting residents requesting placement with Baptist Memorial Medical Education must meet the following requirements prior to the start of placement. Audition and sub internship will determine if you are approved.

An Affiliation Agreement must be in place with your educational program–this can take four weeks or more to complete.

Students must complete the required application and orientation documents. The following additional documentation is required a minimum of 10 business days before the placement start date. (You may send us electronic copies of all information) Please specify your area of interest when submitting the application.
